Anyhow, he is always obliged to leave his wife and family for four months in the year when it is cold, and as his wife cannot stand the hottest months, she has to leave the estate for the sea-shore. How ever, he is looking forward to the time when the children are old enough to travel, so that they may all go to the south of France in the season, together.
